Join Our Structural Engineering Team
We’re looking to welcome an experienced Structural Engineer (RPEQ/CPEng) with a minimum of five years’ post-graduate experience. You’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end engineering solutions across a diverse range of commercial and residential projects, collaborating closely with senior project engineers, drafters, and key clients. Established rapport with boutique architects will be highly regarded.

About the Role
As a Structural Engineer at Westera Partners, you will:
- Assist in the design and management of multiple structural projects across various sectors.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers, drafters, and external stakeholders, including key clients and local authorities.
- Contribute to a mentoring-focused, collaborative team environment that values innovation and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with ISO-accredited Quality, Safety, and Environmental management systems.
- Play an active role in the continuous improvement of systems and workflows.
This position offers a strong long-term growth opportunity. While you’ll initially support senior and principal engineers, over time you will take on greater project responsibility, including the opportunity to lead a team of your own.

About You
We’re seeking someone who is:
- RPEQ, CPEng, or NER registered (or actively working towards registration with sufficient demonstrable experience to rapidly obtain).
- Experienced, with at least five years of relevant structural engineering practice.
- Minimum 4-year engineering degree.
- Confident in structural principles, materials, and applicable Australian Standards.
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Hyne Timber Design, with proficient working knowledge of SPACE GASS, Strand7, and Inducta Suite software.
- Personable, proactive, and a strong communicator
- Well-organised and capable of juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Interested in long-term career development, with the potential to lead projects and teams in the future.
