About the Role
We’re seeking a professionally driven Civil Engineer to lead and contribute to technical designs and client-facing projects. You’ll manage small-scale projects, design packages, liaise with stakeholders, and support junior team members, all while working toward or holding RPEQ/CPEng accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Civil design using tools like DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCAD
- Apply and interpret local authority and asset owner guidelines/standards
- Produce technically sound, cost-effective solutions with high attention to detail
- Engage with clients, councils, and consultants to deliver project outcomes
- Manage scope, budget, and contract phases under ISO-accredited management systems
- Innovate with design reviews and cross-disciplinary collaboration
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
- 6+ years’ post-graduate experience
- Strong technical design skills and familiarity with relevant software
- Proven ability to work independently and in teams on diverse projects
- Clear communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Local experience in SEQ working with various government authorities is advantageous
