About the role

We are currently looking for a Civil Designer to join our team. The role will be based in our Northern NSW office located in Kingscliff. This is a full time position.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to produce detail design drawings, and work packages for various civil engineering projects that are aligned with the principles of the business, current regulations, and exceed client expectations.

You will work alongside Senior Engineers and Partners to ensure on time delivery of high quality and cost effective services.

Westera has an ISO Accredited Quality Management System. It is the responsibility of all team members to comply with this system and to contribute to the continuous business improvement.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have a approximately 5 years similar experience in a design role. You must hold an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering.

You should have advanced software design skills with AutoCAD and working knowledge of 12D.

You will receive mentoring and development opportunities, and as your professional journey continues you should be competent addressing appropriately complex and technical matters independently, systematically and with strict adherence and knowledge of local government regulations, applicable standards and codes of practice. Design solutions should be creative, efficient and effective.

You will have a personable approach and advanced communication skills. Your time management skills will see you working on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines. In summary you should be dedicated, efficient, motivated, proactive and enthusiastic.
